“2024 Daegu Chimac Festival”
Starting from tomorrow, the combination of chicken and beer brings locals and foreigners to Daegu for a one-of-a-kind experience in Korea. The ‘2024 Daegu Chimac Festival,’ celebrating the beloved pairing of chicken and beer (치맥 : 치 = chicken, 맥 = beer ‘Chimak’ ), will take place from July 3 to July 7 across Duryu Park, Peace Market, and Duryu Youth Street under the slogan ‘It’s Summer! Let’s CHIMAC.’ After last year’s postponement to late August due to construction, the festival returns to its summer schedule. The event, organized by the Daegu Chimac Festival Organizing Committee, will feature performances, EDM parties, and unique content reflecting the festival’s spirit, ensuring an atmosphere filled with an amazing vibe and helping all attendees beat the summer heat. Daegu local chicken brands will complete this week’s afternoons at the festival.
