Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival
For four consecutive years, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has honored the Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival as an outstanding celebration. This captivating event unfolds every July, coinciding with the peak of summer when the resplendent lotus flowers grace the surroundings. Centered around a poignant love tale, the festival presents a plethora of programs and performances, skillfully weaving together storytelling and entertainment. Amidst the festival’s venue, thoughtfully integrated with the surrounding natural landscapes, create cherished memories as you capture unforgettable moments alongside your loved ones, immersing in the perfect backdrop for captivating photos.

1. Main program
– Gungnamji Fantasy: Water musical on the water stage with the motif of love and lotus between Seodong and Seonhwa
– Seodong Sunhwa Starlight Parade: A night parade of performers wearing full-dress costumes, centering on Seodong and Princess Seonhwa
– A feast of light in Gungnamji: A feast of light composed of LED lights and holograms under eight themes of love stories blooming in the lotus flower garden
– Starry Night Drone Art Show: A drone art show that will present a fantastic summer night in Gungnamji
2. Performance programs: 2030, Gungnamji Open Concert, today, Gungnamji Trot, Falling in Lotus Garden performance, etc
3. Competition program: Gungnamji RPG-Seodong Seonhwa Exploration Team and three other programs
4. Experience programs: 22 programs, including Yeonji Canoe Exploration and Lotus Tour with Yeonyeon commentator
5. Event programs: Welcome to Maraebangjuk, Lotus Garden radio station, etc
6. Urban programs: 3 programs, including street performances with the Lotus Festival
