Anyang Dance Festival

Anyang Dance Festival where 'Dance' meets 'Cultural Arts'

Since its inception in the year 2000, the Anyang Citizen Festival has grown from a local event attended by the citizens of Anyang to a representative cultural festival of Gyeonggi Province, attracting over 300,000 visitors annually. It has evolved into a significant citizen participation festival where citizens create, participate, and enjoy cultural and artistic content related to the living arts, contributing to the formation of a local arts community and the promotion of citizen cultural communities. This year, in celebration of Anyang’s 50th anniversary as a city, the festival is joined by 9 sister cities from 6 countries overseas, offering a rich array of performances in the city of “Anyang,” known as the city of “dance.”
