Seoul Africa Festival 2023

The Seoul Africa Festival, which began in 2016, is the largest festival in South Korea with a singular theme – ‘Africa.’ Through a diverse program created in collaboration with embassies, communities, and related organizations, it offers a vibrant and lively opportunity to directly experience the culture of the African region. The Seoul Africa Festival, held annually in Seoul, is a ‘Cultural Festival of Africa’ and serves as a step towards becoming global citizens, transcending national and racial boundaries. The 6th Seoul Africa Festival, held in the heart of Seoul at Banpo Hangang Park, features African talents and a fashion show that spotlights African brands and domestic African models. Thus, the Seoul Africa Festival provides new content and experiences related to Africa, expanding cultural diversity and creating a space for people to meet across national and racial boundaries.
