"Gyeongju's Cultural Heart: Where Tradition and Celebration Unite

The Shilla Cultural Festival, which began with its first edition in 1962, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The 50th Shilla Cultural Festival in 2023 promises a dazzling array of performances, from the spectacular Hwabaekjejeon that heralds the birth of the Shilla dynasty, to a street arts festival featuring numerous artists, and the Silk Road Fiesta! During the festival period, a variety of programs will captivate the senses of citizens and tourists in Gyeongju.
