Welcome Daehakro 2023

Welcome Daehakro is an annual performing arts and tourism festival held every autumn since 2017. It offers diverse entertainment options for both domestic and international audiences and tourists in the famous Daehangno, known as the hub of Korean performing arts. Featuring various performances representing K-Performance, delightful eateries, cafes, and alley tours filled with stories, Welcome Daehakro Festival invites you to enjoy all that it has to offer.’

  1. Opening Roadshow
  • The grand opening features a spectacular parade and celebration performance, as well as the declaration of the festival on the car-free streets of Daehangno, the largest of its kind in Asia.
  2. Theater
  • A variety of performances available in the vicinity of Daehangno during the festival.
  3. K-Stage
  • Experience K-Performance in five languages! Worldwide free online streaming *10/16,17,18,23,24,25 18:00~24:00 Platforms: YouTube, Naver TV, Marfongwa.
  4. Fringe
  • Various outdoor performances, including showcases and busking, taking place in Daehangno.
  5. Theater Market
  • A networking and promotional platform for participating works and performance tourism products, connecting local and international experts.
  6. D-Tour (University Road Tour)
  • Explore the landmarks of Daehangno, the heart of performing arts culture, learn about its history and significance, and experience the real University Road through games and missions. *Weekends and holidays at 14:00 and 17:00.
  7. Closing Ceremony
  • The grand finale of the Welcome Daehakro Festival featuring awards ceremonies and special performances.
